I could not resist. Or maybe I did? I could not resist. Or maybe I did?
305 in da house. 305 in da house.
Too late for that call for unity. Too late for that call for unity.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Good morning. A fable. The Deranged Tyrant grabbed Good morning. A fable. The Deranged Tyrant grabbed Queen Democracy's sacred p*ssy, incited his serfs to rape & mangle her body. They assaulted, poked & prodded, beat while boasting. Still, the sun shines. The end.
.
Neighborhood report: people jogging, walking their dogs. The usual. Unreal.
In spite of the Insurrection, @teddy_man_about_tow In spite of the Insurrection, @teddy_man_about_town plunked his butt on my Uggs and that was the comfort I didn't know I needed. Meet my new pooch crush.
GO HOME As seen on my walk to work this morning. T GO HOME As seen on my walk to work this morning. They were too kind. I barely slept or ate on the day of the insurrection. This ain't over.
January 6, 2021. Another day in U.S. history that January 6, 2021. Another day in U.S. history that will live in infamy. I was rushing home on foot to hunker down in safety. I heard a loud boom -- likely a flash bang before the insurrectionists breached the Capitol. The wail of sirens followed. A toxic cloud from this mob drunk with entitlement hung over the neighborhood.
One of these things is not like the other ... One of these things is not like the other ...
Research. . Thank you Colleen O'Bryant of @wildroo Research.

Thank you Colleen O'Bryant of @wildroots_apothecary for bringing to my nose a living history of this storied jar, and its deliciously controversial content. Someday, I'll anoint my own beloved with spikenard.
"Sometimes the greatest gift is the one we find ha "Sometimes the greatest gift is the one we find hardest to give."

Drawn in 2004, but so 2020.
.
All the good things, all the love, even when it hurts. That's how we transcend into being fully anthropos, fully human, fully embracing the paradox of spirit and flesh. For me, that's the message of Christ -- the anointed one -- and Mary Magdalene -- his konoinos, his loving, devoted companion or in more modern terms, his ride AND die, all of it -- she whose only "sin" was to love much.
.
A year of sacrifices. To sacrifice actually means to make "sacer" -- sacred or even more sacred. For example, wearing a mask? A universal faith gesture that says: "I value my connection to self and others as sacred."
.
Mother nature has tested our hubris by challenging our trust in eachother as a collective species, and it didn't take much -- a tiny and very clever speck I call the humility virus.
.
We are fragile.
.
We are also strong.
.
May we all love much even as we bear witness to arrogance and hate, as I know I will in the days to come here in the nation's capital.
.
May we love much, even when it's hard.
